PhDs in Electrical Engineering

Electrical engineering deals with various electric-related issues like electric power engineering, electronics, power electronics and involves designing, developing, testing and supervising the production of electrical and electronic equipment and machinery. An electrical engineer is also responsible for solving various issues of electronic systems which can be large scale (electric-power engineering) or small scale (nanoelectronics).

A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in electrical engineering equips students with knowledge of technology design as they should be able to produce and interpret technical diagrams and they will gain a good understanding of electrical health and safety regulations. Electrical engineering students will also develop organisational and analytical skills required for recording, analysing and interpreting various engineering data.
