Overview
Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Catalonia offers third cycle studies for graduates in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and industrial engineering, to train them in the techniques of researching, developing, modelling and simulating electromechanical devices, systems and processes. Considering the interdisciplinary nature of the programme, a wide range of contents are offered to obtain a full view of all the applied technologies. The contents include the analysis and design of complex electromechanical systems (such as drives, devices and control systems) and the modelling and simulation of these systems, based on electrical and electronic systems.
Students at Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Catalonia will have acquired the following competencies, which are needed to carry out quality research:
- A systematic understanding of the field of study and a mastery of the research skills and methods related to the field.
- An ability to conceive, design or create, put into practice and adopt a substantial process of research or creation.
