The South African Theological Seminary (SATS) is a fully online, evangelical, distance education institution, based on 3 foundational principles, namely, Bible-based, Christ-centred and Spirit-led. It is fully accredited in English and French by the Council on Higher Education, all the way to the PhD level.

About

The South African Theological Seminary operates completely online and is able to offer its high quality, fully accredited programmes all over the world. Currently we have 2000 students in 87 countries with 140 staff members in 28 countries. Our highly qualified, friendly staff are regularly complimented for their excellence and prompt service delivery.

We are the only private, evangelical seminary in Africa which is accredited up to the PhD level in English and French. Our fees are low by international standards, without compromising quality in any way. Our alumni have often expressed praise for their journey with us.

We believe in partnering with like-minded groups, churches, institutions and organisations, because we know there is significant value in such collaboration. We have forged partnerships in many parts of the world, especially in countries which do not permit the accreditation of religious programs. We invest time in developing the relationship, and as a result, we have forged sound partnerships in many parts of the world.

We are a non-profit organisation and completely debt free.
