Strathclyde has its own Campus Village, right in the heart of the Glasgow. Over 1,440 students live there and 500 more live in university accommodation within close walking distance, much of it in the fashionable Merchant City. The Jordanhill Campus in the west of Glasgow - home to our Faculty of Education - has its own halls of residence on site.They know you're here to study, and we offer everything you need to help you do that successfully. But there's much more to life in Strathclyde than fantastic library resources. With Glasgow's vibrant sport, culture and nightlife all around, there's never a dull moment.

The International Students' Chaplain liaises with the different religious groups in Glasgow and can help you contact your own faith group. 24-hour security servicesThere are security patrols circulating on both campuses at all times, and for added peace of mind there is a monitored CCTV system beamed back to University Security Control. The Security Control Booth for the John Anderson Campus is in the Livingstone Tower; at Jordanhill it is in the David Stow Building.
The team at the Village Office manage all our residences, help with repairs and offer a 24-hour emergency service. Find them on the ground floor of the Lord Todd complex in the John Anderson Campus Village.
Our main library in the Curran Building on the John Anderson campus has around 750,000 volumes and over 8,000 current journal subscriptions, the vast majority of which are available electronically. It covers all subjects taught at Strathclyde, focussing on science, engineering, business, law and social sciences.
Health & SafetyThey work hard to provide a safe and secure environment for the students, and have over 90 trained and dedicated security service staff on hand to provide help and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The city centre John Anderson Campus contains a student village right in the heart of Glasgow. There's a free and frequent shuttle bus between John Anderson and Jordanhill campuses to help you get around quickly and easily.They aim to make your life on campus as straightforward as possible. With more than 50 active clubs and societies at Strathclyde, it's easy to find other people who share your interests - whether that's music, drama, sports or voluntary work.The Students' Union is the centre of social life for Strathclyde students - it's where everyone goes to meet and relax with friends and enjoy some great nights out. The Union has bars and clubs to cater for all tastes and you'll find their prices have student budgets well in mind.
Less than 1% of business schools in the world hold "triple accreditation" - Strathclyde is one of them. Currently, only a handful of business schools out of around 3500 worldwide have been fully accredited.
