Description

Individual must be enrolled or accepted in an accredited 2 or 4-year college, technical institution, or certificate program with a declared interest in aviation (pilot, mechanic, educator, engineer, journalism, insurance, safety, military, flight attendant, air traffic controllers, technicians, quality, airport operations, and more).

Benefits

There is one scholarship available, and is worth $1500.

Eligibility

  • Individual must be enrolled or accepted in an accredited 2 or 4-year college, technical institution, or certificate program with a declared interest in aviation (pilot, mechanic, educator, engineer, journalism, insurance, safety, military, flight attendant, air traffic controllers, technicians, quality, airport operations, and more).
  • If the applicant is interested in flying, the school is to be a certified Part 141 Flight School Program or a Part 91 Flight Training Program or a Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School.
  • Applicant must have an interest in music (instrumental, choir, voice, entertainer, educator, producer/composer, classical, librarian, film and TV, social media, country, freelance, symphony, therapist, director, and more).
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale if enrolled in a graded school. If not already enrolled and/or training, applicant must provide a copy of enrollment acceptance letter.
  • Must be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  • Be a member of WAI for a minimum of 1 year.
