Overview
The Durham DBA programme of Durham University seeks to encourage DBA students to use organisation theory in interdisciplinary ways to think critically and analytically about as well as influence organisations and management, work practices, processes and institutions.
As a research degree, the Durham DBA offers skills and capabilities to discriminate between managerial “wisdom” and the results of rigorous, and relevant research and educates our students to engage in the second of these both through the research philosophy and ethics, and the research methodology workshops.
Careers
A number have also become successful authors and others have embarked on a second career in academia. The distinguishing feature of the Durham DBA is its strong organisational focus.
