  • The main objective of this programme is to prepare students to be able to carry out independent research in the area of immunology and its applications.

This programme evaluates the research of the PhD candidate in a public presentation of the doctoral thesis and the publication of articles deriving from in in international indexed journals in the JCR.

General Requirements

  • The PhD in Advanced Immunology is aimed at students who have obtained a Masters degree in any area of  bioscience. 
  • The ideal student profile is someone with a marked capacity for analysis, a proactive attitude, a problem-solving mentality and a completed Masters degree in Advanced Immunology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the University of Barcelona. 
  • Student who have an official research Masters degree or equivalent in the area of  bioscience, taken over a comparable period to that for this PhD course may also apply. In the above case the specific training of the student in immunology will be taken into account.
