In the Techno-Economics programme from Graz University of Technology (TU Graz), you focus on making new discoveries at the interface between engineering and economy and develop these findings during your dissertation research.

Techno Economy combines the fields of technology and economy. In this context, we understand economy to address aspects of economic and social science perspectives.

Techno Economy deals with scientific research that occurs at this interface, from knowledge-based research driven by the application of economic theory to technical and scientific basic research that is of practical importance.

completion of a subject-related diploma or master’s programme in engineering sciences or natural sciences at a university or

completion of another degree programme at a recognised Austrian or foreign post-secondary educational institution that is equivalent to the aforementioned degree programmes or

completion of a degree programme at a recognised Austrian or foreign post-secondary educational institution in combination with supplementary curricular requirements or

only in exceptional cases under very restrictive conditions: completion of a subject-related bachelor’s programme.
