The 3rd-cycle study programme in Physics leads to "doktorat znanosti" (PhD degree). It is implemented by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

Basic goals of the programme are to qualify candidates for scientific work, research, and development in the fields of physics as well as in other interdisciplinary fields related to physics.

Students choose one of the three modules: Physics, Biophysics, or Educational Physics.
