Candidates pursuing research degrees at GDI are part of the Rory and Elizabeth Brooks Doctoral College , a multidisciplinary research community.  The Development Policy and Management program is offered by The University of Manchester.

Overview

The Brooks Doctoral College aspires to be a community of doctoral researchers contributing to socially just global development through the research of its members and their progression into leadership roles in public, private and civic institutions.

The combined field experience of our staff covers over 60 countries in Asia, Africa, Central and South America and the Pacific. 

Much of this experience has been gained from working with national and international agencies where the focus has been on finding workable solutions to development problems and strengthening institutional capacities.
