About the programme
The PhD in Philosophy at The University of Manchester is a full-time programme. You will undertake substantial original research, which will form a thesis of approximately 70,000 words.
Throughout, you will work closely with an expert supervisor, with further guidance from at least one extra supervisor.
You will become part of a lively PhD community working on a variety of topics including:

- metaontology
- religious faith

- Bachelor's (Honours) degree in a cognate subject at 2:1 or above (or overseas equivalent); and
- Master's degree in a relevant subject - with an overall average of 65% or above, a minimum mark of 65% in your dissertation and no mark below 55% (or overseas equivalent)
