The Population Health Leadership program is offered by the University of San Francisco. The drive toward value-based care provides a unique opportunity for nurses with the skills to design, implement, and evaluate new models of care delivery. The patient's transition through the continuum of services must be coordinated for maximum effectiveness.

The Population Health Leadership plan of study in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree program offered by the University of San Francisco prepares registered nurses (RNs) with a master's degree for leadership positions in a variety of settings within a rapidly evolving healthcare system. The program will give students the knowledge and skills to lead interprofessional teams and also to provide direct patient care.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, Master of Science in Nursing degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, and post-graduate APRN certificate programs at the University of San Francisco, School of Nursing and Health Professions are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 3

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
