Projects

We are inviting applications to a number of self-funded PhD projects in the School of Dentistry. These projects are open to UK/EU and overseas students.

Although the projects are designed for full-time study, you are welcome to discuss the feasibility of conducting any project part-time with the supervisor in advance of your application.   • In answer to the question ‘How do you plan to fund your studies?’, please specify the details and upload any documents providing the evidence (for example, a letter of confirmation of scholarship).
  • Suitable for graduates in scientific, clinical or engineering subjects, eg biosciences, chemistry, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy.
  • Applicants should normally hold a good honours degree, MSc or equivalent and be able to show research competence for master's or doctoral level entry.
