In the accounting concentration, future business and academic leaders study and master fundamental concepts, theories, and research methodologies of accounting.

 Classes in financial accounting cover topics related to accounting information and capital markets, financial statements analyses, asset revaluation, foreign currency translation, M&A, and corporate restructuring.

 Classes in management accounting cover strategic cost management and management compensation and examine theories of decision-making and information processing. 

Classes in internal control and auditing cover issues associated with internal and external audit, related party transactions, ownership structure, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, business ethics, and not-for-profit accounting. 

Classes in tax accounting cover strategic tax planning and corporate income taxes.


The YSB obtained accreditation in 2008 by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) International and the KABEA (Korea Association of Business Education Accreditation). In 2012, the School of Business acquired EQUIS accreditation, becoming the first business school in in Korea to be accredited by these three accrediting agencies.
