- Official Transcript: Request one official transcript from each college and/or University attended, regardless of length of attendance. This may be uploaded to the online system. Original transcripts will be required by mail or in-person at the time of admission if admitted.
- Three Letters of Recommendation: Request letters from 3 people who can evaluate the applicant's academic ablility and promise as a graduate student. Endorsers should be either from the applicants academic program or a former employer in the mining industry.
- Graduate Record Exam GRE: This exam is required for Ph.D. applicants. Please have the official score sent directly to the University of Utah indicating Mining Engineering as the Department Code.
