The Doctoral Course of Earth Sciences offered by University of Pisa does not have a permanent administrative seat (the administrative headquarters rotates between the three Tuscan universities) and the doctoral students can choose any of the three Tuscan universities as their operational headquarters.
The two main Research Institutes dealing with Earth Sciences in Tuscany (the Institute of Geosciences and Georesources of the CNR and the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology) are members of the project network, and the Geologists Foundation of the Tuscany, ENEL Green Power and West System Srl.
The Teaching Unit of the Department of Earth Sciences takes care of the administrative and financial management of the services related to the teaching of the Department. It carries out activities of support to the management, collaborating in the organizational management of the study courses of the Department.
