Overview

Chemical Engineering students at the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague can complete their studies either as full-time students or as a combination of full-time and distance learning. Each student’s doctoral experience is always tailored to the needs of the individual student, according to the pace at which requirements are completed. 

The standard length of the doctoral study programme is four years, according to current accreditation requirements.

It is essential when applying for doctoral studies that you find an advisor who will guide you through the entire duration of your PhD studies.

  • Master Diploma with Diploma Supplement Only certified copies of the originals are acceptable, i.e. stamped by the educational institute, officially translated into English (where applicable) and verified according to the international agreements
  • Recognition (Nostrification) Certificate of your Master degree
  • Letter of motivation

  • Signed Curriculum Vitae
  • Copy of your passport
  • Certified translation of Birth Certificate or similar document providing evidence of date and place of birth.
  • Recent Health certificate (not older than 2 months) confirmed by an official health institution
