Overview
Applied Mechanics from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava graduates possess very good theoretical knowledge in mathematics, rigid body mechanics, theory of elasticity, continuum mechanics mechanism analysis and synthesis, dynamics of machines, vibration of mechanical systems, thermomechanics, fluid mechanics, technical acoustics and the theory of experiment, which they can apply in problem solving in technical practice.
They are able to use modern new software and to create new programs for solution of specific problems in mechanics. They can work in research institutions, at universities and as highly qualified experts in various industries.

The acquired academic knowledge, experience with scientific and publishing work, as well as the pedagogical experience of our alumni enable them to find employment in the scientific development of mechanical engineering, in the industrial field, or to continue in the scientific and pedagogical career at universities specializing in engineering in Slovakia or abroad.
