Overview
During this Biostatistics programme at Near East University you will be introduced to data mining, data preparation techniques, introduction to data cubes and OLAP technology, association rules, introduction to classification techniques in data mining, artificial neural networks, support vector machines, decision tree algorithms, random forest, introduction to clustering analysis in data mining, data mining, text mining.
Objectives
- Determination of article subject, making literature review, reading and understanding of articles, evaluation of makalen, reporting of evaluation results.
- Determination of the thesis topic, examination of all the sources related to the selected subject, preparation of the research proposal, analysis of the application data, result of the research, report of the results of the whole research

- Introduction, properties and applications of statistical calculation programs (STATA, SPSS, STATISTICA, SAS etc.).
