Overview
This Molecular Medicine course at Near East University will emphasize both the methodologies used in proteomics and metabolomics, as well as their applications in both research and medical diagnostic settings.
This course is about understanding molecular mechanisms of disease and using this understanding in disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
The course will give an overview of mechanisms for development of genetic diseases. Topics include different patterns of inheritance, like dominant, recessive, autosomal and sex linked inheritance.
Educational Opportunity
Students wıll be able to recognise and analyse key research ethical questions, to formulate ethical research plans and responses to ethical challenges by applying key ethical theories and approaches, to recognise and understand key ethical principles guiding research and how they apply to research work, to identify rights and responsibilities as a researcher and to understand how ethical decisions and choices influence society and research community.
