As the program is now in its fourth year, our faculty is actively involved in the placement of Ph.D. students. The three possible headings of the TropiKMan Ph.D. are Agribusiness and Governance for Development, Agrobiotechnology, and Health Sciences.

Programme Structure

  • Nova SBE’s TropikMan Ph.D. program links management competencies to natural and environmental sciences. Providing graduates the tools to have an interventive attitude in countries of the tropical region, a solid theoretical and methodological framework, with a management perspective, to foster innovation and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. 
  • This Ph.D. program was designed for highly motivated students from different backgrounds, professionals who pursue careers on global development issues, representing also an opportunity for entrepreneurs, inventors, innovators, and businesses, to showcase their inventive and innovative ideas, projects and processes to potential investors, mentors, government officials and the public.
