Overview
The doctoral study programme Protection of Aquatic Ecosystems is set as strongly research-oriented. Students are part of research laboratory teams. The basic requirement for the student is to work on the topic of the dissertation and involvement in the operation of his research laboratory and the entire faculty.
The student has to demonstrate all skills that are important for a quality scientist or expert in the future - independence, ability to communicate with colleagues at home and abroad, communication in English, the ability to learn new things, the ability to write a quality scientific publication as the first author, present their results at the international level and discuss them, as well as acquire the necessary skills associated with pedagogical competencies.
Students are also motivated to practice the ability to design a research project within the USB Grant Agency and, in the case of its financing, the independent solution of the project and the use of allocated financial support according to the plan. We do not forget to deepen the practical experience as well
