Overview

This Musicology PhD program from Masaryk University specializes in both early and modern Czech and European music culture with special attention to some themes, including the music activities of religious brethren in Moravia in early modern times, court music, Leoš Janá?ek, Alois Hába, the study of audience taste, and the relationship between music theory and aesthetics in the 19th and 20th centuries.
