Overview
About the program
The dissertation projects in this Identification in Mathematical Models program at the University of Göttingen are concerned with identification problems in mathematical models as they occur in partial differential equations, image processing, kernel based learing algorithms and geostatistics, and combine the potentials of modern methods from statistics and numerical analysis for their solution.
Programme Structure
Projects include:- Statistical inverse problems for Images handling and Biometrics
- Kernel based and robust identification methods
- Identification problems for partiel differential equations
