Overview
About the programme
- Students in this Integrated Catalysis CDT programme at The University of Manchester will train and study as a cohort, developing an identity and building their expertise through peer-to-peer learning and interaction.
- Training delivery will be supported by industrial partners in terms of taught material, instrumentation skills workshops, and site visits to experience process development first hand.
- Students will be encourage to reflect on the importance of responsible research and innovation throughout the programme.

General requirements
- A First or Upper Second Class Honours degree, or the overseas equivalent, in a scientific or engineering discipline.
- Candidates will need to complete the online application form which is generic for all postgraduate research degrees. Applications to the iCAT CDT do not require you to write a research proposal or to choose a supervisor; you will select your research project six months after the programme starts.
- Candidates who submit the strongest applications will be invited to an interview as part of the admissions process. All interviews will be conducted online (through Zoom) until further notice.
