Overview
About the programme
With this concept, we aim to develop novel catalytic materials that combine selectivity, productivity, robustness, and ease of processing at the highest level.
Catalysis at Liquid Interfaces at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) consists of four strongly interlinked research areas. All approaches centre on solid-supported liquids of ultralow vapour pressure to enable stable catalytic performance in continuous gas-phase reactions.
CLINT is made possible by a large group of experienced researchers aiming to investigate the topic at hand at various different levels from several different angles.
Programme Structure
Research areas include:
- Supported Catalytically Active Liquid Metal Solutions
- Interface-enhanced SILP (Supported Ionic Liquid Phase)
- Advanced SCILL (Solid Catalysts with Ionic Liquid Layer)
- Modelling and Simulation
