Overview
Agroecology is a branch of science that deals with the interactions between soils, plants, animals, humans and the environment within ecological systems created for the production of food.
Geographic location:
PhD students enrolled in the Agroecology programme at Aarhus University will have their working location at either AU-Foulum, (close to Viborg) or at AU-Flakkebjerg (close to Slagelse). Students are welcome to spend shorter or longer periods of their study by one of the partners in our world-wide network.
Research facilities available
A PhD education at Aarhus University gives access to e.g., state-of-the-art laboratories, GIS-laboratories, greenhouses, the largest semifield and lysimeter facilities in Europe, and 1,300 hectares of farmland for experiments.
