Environmental scientists and specialists study the composition and structure of Earth; the physical, chemical, and biological processes that shape Earth and the environment; and human impacts on the environment.
Working in a diversity of disciplines, we strive for a future where the quality of life for all living organisms is acheived by sustainable, ethical, and responsible means.

General requirements
- In general, admission to graduate study is granted only to those students who have good academic records and who are adequately prepared to undertake graduate work in their field of specialization.
- In particular, an applicant for admission to a graduate program leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy must have either a Master's degree or, in exceptional cases, a four-year Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent; with a minimum average of 77% (or equivalent).

- Statement of Research Interests and Goals
- Title of Master's thesis, and copies of abstracts from publications
- An explanation of any communications you have had with faculty members at Windsor
- A list of any teaching experience you have had, including assisting in labs
- GRE is recommended for students graduating from Universities outside of North America.
