Overview
Eduation
A special emphasis is given on the didactics of geography, environmental geography, urban geography, and rural geography, which are the core courses of the study programme. When learning about spirituality, the habitat has at least the same weight as the time.
The mission of geographical sciences is to get to know the landscape in order to determine the spatial dimension of the human (nation) existence and to contribute to the cultural, social and economic development of the area by obtaining proper knowledge. With the increased environmental and habitual awareness, the importance of geography has gradually increased.
With the development of theoretical thinking and original methods, geography has been successfully integrated into applicative projects in the fields of environmental protection, spatial planning, exploration of cultural, social and economic aspects of the societal structure, but also in the education of pupils and adults.
