This Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Physiology program trains students to become independent researchers who can carry out original research and make a significant contribution to a field of study in physiology: cellular physiology and membrane transport and the physiology of the cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, digestive and endocrine systems.

During the Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Physiology program, students gain in-depth knowledge in their field of specialization and related fields, conduct an original research project, and develop oral and written communication skills. After completing the program, students may pursue a career in research or teaching.

Molecular Physiology and Biophysics option:

  • This option provides students with in-depth knowledge and resources so that they can develop their creative talents through a cutting-edge research project on the structure and role of biological membranes along with the structure and function of different membrane proteins in normal and physiopathological conditions.
