Throughout the three years of study, you will focus on the production and presentation of exceptional performances that are firmly grounded in research. You will also prepare a supporting analysis of texts on a subject closely related to your performance specialisation.

Your thesis will make an original contribution to the field of knowledge relating to music performance, and show an ability to articulate critical judgement and performance theory, while demonstrating a knowledge of the literature relevant to the history and performing practice of the music contained in your examinable programmes.
