Mansfield University

The mission of the Office of Student Retention at Mansfield University is to offer support, information, programs, and services which foster the success of our students. These initiatives are embedded in the Office of Student Retention, and then are conducted in collaboration with students, faculty, staff, and departments throughout the University. In helping students overcome challenges, the office provides leadership, assistance, or referrals as necessary.

• Thoughtful building design incorporates a living-learning opportunity, promoting student academic success. Individual floors provide group project rooms and study lounges, space utilized by academic tutors, counselors, and study sessions for individual or team projects. Ground floor access to both buildings' multipurpose rooms affords abundant opportunity for lectures, performances, exhibits, or social functions.

The Library is located on the first four floors of North Hall and has several special features to promote the efficient use of information in both printed and electronic forms. The Library has been designed to highlight traditional subject strengths such as those for music and education and also to provide immediate access to electronic information via extensive computer networking.

• The Mansfield University Campus Technologies Division (CT) promotes, develops, acquires, installs and supports technology and enabling applications for students, faculty, and staff through group and individual initiatives on campus and in the region.
