About

History

The Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity (Centre de Recherches Interdisciplinaires – CRI) in Paris was founded in 2005 as a convivial place at the crossroad of life sciences and exact, natural, cognitive, and social sciences.

Education

The CRI offers three degree programs integrated in the Bettencourt curriculum: an undergraduate program, a masters program, and a doctoral program.

Research

Founded in the spirit of facilitating the transition from closed scientific enquiry to a more open model we aim to transcending barriers between disciplines, science and the society. We foster research at crossroads between interdisciplinary life and health sciences,  basic understanding of learning processes and novel education technology/methodology testing and implementation, and digital sciences.

The Leadership Program on “Teaching Through Research” has been created under the auspices of our UNESCO Chair on “Learning Sciences” to help young Pi’s and researchers in Life Sciences to develop and implement innovative educational projects.
