Just over a century ago, the Marist Brothers came to New York's Hudson River Valley to train young men to continue the Brothers' vocation as great educators. What started as a seminary for the training of future Marist Brothers has developed into one of the leading colleges of the arts and sciences in the country.
The mission of the Office of Accommodations and Accessibility is to support students with documented disabilities in becoming empowered, independent learners by providing the appropriate accommodations and services necessary to access the educational opportunities at Marist College.
The Marist College Library was originally housed on the top floor of Greystone in 1928. In 1945, reference, periodical and work areas took over the second floor as well, and then in 1949, the Library also claimed Greystone's lowest level. The Library remained in Greystone for 35 years.
The burgeoning library moved from Greystone to Donnelly Hall in 1963.
The purpose of Student Health Services is to foster and maintain the good health of Marist College students through preventative measures, education, and treatment of illnesses, injuries and emotional problems.
At Marist, students receive an outstanding education without any limitations of location. They can avail themselves of opportunities at our main campus and facilities in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley, our Marist NYC location in the heart of midtown Manhattan, our campus in Florence, Italy, and any number of our convenient online courses and programs of study. With so many enriching academic and cultural experiences available to them, Marist students are limited only by their imaginations.
All student clubs at Marist are organized based on the type of activities in which they partake and are engaged in.
