The three Oxford campuses are located around the city and are all connected to each other and the city centre by their own bus service. Harcourt Hill Campus is to the west of Oxford, Headington Campus is on the eastern side of the city and Wheatley Campus is in a village seven near the city centre.
The Headington Campus is the largest and the majority of the courses and activities will be taught here. Some programmes are taught more frequently at the Wheatley or Harcourt campuses, but all students may be required to attend some teaching or assessment activities at any of the three campuses. There's a new campus in Swindon, which offers state-of-the-art learning facilities to our healthcare students based there.
When you join Oxford Brookes you automatically become a member of Brookes Union. The Union is here to help you make the most of life at university, and there are plenty of ways to get involved.
Oxford Brookes has been awarded a Silver rating from the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). The sector-wide scheme is the first nationwide ranking for teaching excellence in UK universities and colleges. The Silver rating reflects the high standard of our teaching which consistently goes beyond the rigorous national quality requirements for UK higher education.
Based on the evidence available, the TEF Panel highlighted Oxford Brookes’ ‘strategic focus on excellent teaching quality including research-informed teaching’. The Panel also applauded the University’s developments in learning and teaching which are ‘consistently informed by the student voice’.
