Housing services

Comfortable, convenient housing and meal plan options foster community, collaboration, and creativity in the heart of the city.

Library services

The library's  collections include a wide variety of physical and digital objects. Research guides curate resources by discipline and topic.

Medical services

California College of the Arts recognizes mental health and wellness is as equally important as physical health and wellness.

This section offers students information about access to mental-health services, including those offered through the college as well as those outside CCA's purview.

Campus life

With input from alumni, faculty, staff, and trustees, the college has partnered with Equity Community Builders/Emerald Fund to identify a range of options that celebrate CCA’s legacy and truly benefit the community. Options could include partnerships with mission-aligned organizations -- coupled with alternative uses such as housing -- and other uses that honor the arts and historic aspects of the Oakland CCA campus.

Student clubs

The Office of Student Life encourages all students to join or create new student organizations, groups, or clubs.

Your participation provides valuable experience that can have a positive effect on your college years as well as your future professional and personal life.

Student groups also contribute to the CCA community at large by involving others to work collaboratively toward a shared goal and are responsible for the vibrant campus life.

CCA is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), and the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), formerly FIDER.
