Miami International University of Art & Design (MIU) has been a mainstay of higher education in the heart of Miami since 1965. We offer local, national, and international students a quality education in Design, Fashion, and Media Arts. MIU is one of The Art Institutes, a system of schools throughout North America.

Career
The Career Services Department is designed to encourage the successful entry into each graduate’s chosen field. In addition, students are encouraged to enter work in competitions, volunteer time on extra curricular projects related to their fields of study, and attend seminars, workshops and networking events.

Student services
Miami International University of Art & Design's Department of Student Services is committed to providing comprehensive student services that promotes student engagement, growth, and development for all students. Student Services does this by providing coordinated, intentional services that supports all of our students' individual academic and personal development.
Housing services
- Our Office of Residential Life and Housing is your source for resources and information about housing. Our School Sponsored Housing program will arrange accommodations in a nearby apartment complex, where you’ll live with other students.
- Student Resident Assistants who live onsite will help you connect with your peers by organizing social, cultural, and creative programs and activities. Basic furnishing and utilities are included in the quarterly housing charge.
Campus life
We’re located in downtown Miami, a modern, cosmopolitan, and multicultural city. Easily accessible by public transport and major interstates, MIU offers students a multitude of year-round events and activities. Miami is a city dedicated to its future and committed to fulfilling the needs of its diverse community while preserving its unique heritage.

Miami International University of Art & Design, including its branches – The Art Institute of Dallas and The Art Institute of Tampa – is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degrees.
