History
Perm National Research Polytechnic University was founded in 1953 as Perm Polytechnic Institute. In 1992 it was among the first polytechnic institutes in Russia that gained the status of State Technical University.
Education
University offers 187 educational programs for higher professional education, including 57 master's programs, as well as 54 postgraduate programs.

University has 9 faculties, 8 institutes, 7 centres for advanced training, 29 research and education centers, 36 teaching and research laboratories, 5 engineering centers.

I really like my course because it is diverse.
I really enjoy my coursework because it aligns with my passion. My academic courses are rigorous with some hard subjects like organic chemistry. However, thanks to our teacher who are really passionate about imparting lesson accurately i managed to achieve a 3.90 gpa. Iam satisfied with the education quality and the cost of attendence, however i hope the University will create some internship at local hospital in order to help students to gain hand- on experience.
