Founded in 1881 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hec Paris is a founding member of ParisTech and of the Paris-Saclay Campus.


Since 1881, HEC Paris has offered a complete range of pre-experience programs for top talent from around the world. Our programs prepare both at-home and international high-potential participants towards top careers in management, enabling responsible leaders, who are capable of both anticipating and leading change in our complex world.

Housing services

The HEC campus provides a wide range of accommodation facilities, which gives students a full access to the HEC experience. Surrounded by the woods and many sports facilities, students from all HEC programs share unique moments among an exceptional student body representing more than 40 nationalities. These close ties facilitate team work as well as the building of an international network.

HEC students are offered the possibility to live on Campus by renting a room in one of the 18 student halls, which are divided into more than 1,400 furnished rooms and flats.

The library provides enough seating for 250 people distributed in several spaces :

ICT services

Computers and internet access offered in the library:

  • 14 computers with an Office suite, and SPPS, Stata et SAS/Stat licenses are available in the main room.
  • 4 Macbooks are available in the main room
  • 1 Bloomberg terminal is available in the "Stock Markets" space of the main room

Student Life

Campus life

Located close to Paris and Versailles, the 300-acre wooded campus is one of the largest in Europe. The campus is also close to ”La Défense”, one of the largest European business districts housing the headquarters of many multinational companies. These companies interact with HEC Paris both as partners and as potential recruiters.

Student clubs

HEC considers community life as one of the cornerstones of the education it provides. It develops a sense of responsibility, audacity and an enterprising mind. Belonging to one or more clubs and associations is an absolute must on the campus! It is the best way to make friends, meet company representatives, share ideas or hobbies with others, have fun and take part in an activity.

Over the years, HEC students have founded and manage today over 130 clubs and associations covering areas such as: sports, culture, professional activities, humanitarian aid, public affairs.
