History
Prague City University was established in 2004 as Prague College, offering a British university education in English in the heart of Europe. Over the years it came to embrace three Schools — Business, Art & Design, and Media & IT — and a wide spectrum of programmes at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, Professional and Foundation levels.

Student services
Students combine learning with practical projects, fieldwork, live projects, internships, business simulations, global and local case studies, ongoing contact with industry, and relevant research-based teaching. With a portfolio of accomplished projects, our graduates really show what they can do. Along with a student council, a humanities society, an alumni network and many other activity clubs, students receive an outstanding university experience at Prague College.

Library services
The constantly-growing libraries currently contain more than 106,000 digital books across all academic disciplines including business, international management, IT, interactive media, fine art, graphic design and more. The physical library supplements the digital collection with several thousand key titles used in our programmes.
ICT services
Computer labs are equipped with the excellent technology and software needed in industry, business, art and design. A combination of Mac and PC labs provide the best resources as appropriate for the class and subject area, and specialist hardware is available for computing, animation, multimedia and sound production, including Adobe, Microsoft and Autodesk software.
Campus life
Prague College is located just five minutes from the commercial and historical centre of Prague. The campus is centred in a beautiful historic building in the prestigious Vinohrady district, next to a large park: you cannot imagine a better place to study and relax!
The degrees are accredited by Teesside University and our approval to run higher and professional diploma programmes is from Pearson BTEC (formerly known as Edexcel), a British awarding body with international recognition.
