The Institute of Technology, established in 1834, provided solid foundation for further development of engineering education in Kraków.
Cracow University of Technology received its current name and independence in 1954.
The Cracow University of Technology signed 65 bilateral agreements and 195 Erasmus agreements that allow its students to experience studies abroad not only in countries of the European Union but also in the USA, Canada, Mexico and places as distant as Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore or South Korea.
They may choose from 2 Bachelor of Science, 1 PhD and 11 Master of Science programmes and more than 200 English-taught courses (non degree students). Each year a group of students from the USA, Canada, Mexico and Australia takes opportunity to enrol for the unique Urban Design International Programme offered in English by the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology.
Careers Service (CS) support students and graduates of our university in their transition from education to labour market. It operates since 1997 as an organisational unit of the university.
Students may use the opportunity of individual counselling as to their job perspectives at any stage of their studies including meetings with job counsellor, psychological testing, career planning skills etc. as well as they may participate in training and workshops related to soft skills needed in the recruitment process.

Cracow University of Technology (CUT) is accredited by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the CUT Faculty of Architecture earned accreditation of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
