Overview

Students come to Medical University of the Americas to become doctors; our hard-earned reputation for excellence attracts a variety of students from across the globe.

Initially, you will enroll on the Basic Sciences program which will provide you with foundational knowledge of the human body and how it behaves in states of health and disease. Across these first five semesters, you’ll also develop your clinical and research skills, both of which are vital for becoming an exemplary doctor.

Students will spend two years studying the Basic Sciences curriculum and will then progress onto the Clinical Medicine program which lasts another two years.

Research Opportunity

You will then progress on to study Clinical Medicine which enables students to expand their foundational skills in a hospital setting and apply their knowledge to real life cases.

The first 40 weeks Medicine program will be dedicated to core rotations. After this, you will choose elective rotations based upon your interests.
