UEA positivity
I'm truly very happy at the UEA as an international student I feel very included and supported. The university is really a great place to be with a very positive vibe. It also have a nice campus life with a good variety of food options. Staff is exceptional and supportive.
Recommend UEA
I really enjoy UEA, would definitely recommend if you're looking for university options. The lecturers are amazing, and can't help you enough with feedback and support inside and outside of the modules. The campus is lovely, little outdated in areas but they make the most of the buildings they have and the natural environment.
Strong teaching team, engaging content and more
At UEA there is something for everyone, with the LCR providing a range of nightlife events, The Warren providing more low-key events for socialising such as, clay modelling and animal events. The range of activities on offer at UEA are amazing and help you feel at home. I have struggled slightly with how often societies meet and find that most of them only meet up monthly which makes it quite difficult to make friends, but other than that the choice of societies is vast. My degree is Film Studies and English Literature, which complement each other really well especially with how the different departments teach. The content has been fun and not felt like a drag at all. I am glad I chose UEA and look forward to my second year options. I have also engaged with the universitys career service which is helpful in finding internships and voluntary roles. I currently work in the universitys food venues which is super flexible and allows me to work around uni. Overall, I am happy to be a UEA student.
