Taipei city life
Taipei is a fascinating city, with a rich cultural heritage; any visitor who comes here simply falls in love and has a memorable experience. There are so many attractions in Taipei that even if you live several months here, you might not cover all of them.

Have a lovely view over the city with the Maokong Gondola and at night you will find several night markets throughout the whole city where you can buy or simply admire thousands of products, from food to clothing and various accessories.
You should not miss Ximending, a famous area for shopping and entertainment, or Xinyi District, also popular among tourists for its many shopping stores.
Savour specific Asian cuisine in local restaurants, but also international and you can relax in some nice bars.
Attend one of the many festivals, like: the Double Ten Day fireworks and concerts, The Taipei Lantern Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival and more.

In Taipei, summers last long, they are hot and humid, with occasional heavy rainstorms. Winters are generally short and with a pleasant and warm temperature. The average high temperatures in summer are around 33 – 34 °C (92 – 93 °F) and in the winter they record 19 – 20 °C (66 – 68° F).
