Memphis city life
Memphis is a fascinating American town, with a friendly atmosphere and a place where you can grab a piece of the American history. Having a special significance for the civil Rights Movement (the city was at the center of civil rights problems), Memphis is also home to many American music genres like soul, blues, gospel, and rock n' roll. Musicians like Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley started out their career in Memphis.

Whenever you’d like to have a walk, go to Overton Park that also includes the Old Forest Arboretum, the Lichterman Nature Center, the Memphis Botanic Garden, and Jesse H Turner Park.
If you’d like to see a play, check out The New Daisy Theatre and for a nice American dinner, go to Central BBQ restaurant, a historic place, where burgers are flipped since 1970. Bars and breweries are quite numerous in Memphis so you can easily find a place to relax and have fun.
Attend some of the local events, such as the Beale Street Music Festival, International Week, The World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest, and the Great River Run.
International atmosphere in Memphis
Memphis doesn’t quite cover a cosmopolitan environment, the main ethnic communities that live here are Hispanic, Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and Hawaiian people.
In terms of international business, Memphis has mostly Asian-owned businesses and companies, and you may also encounter several expats from around the world that came here for a work opportunity.
