Huddersfield has relatively cold winters and moderate warm summers. The average high temperatures in December and January, which are also the wettest months, are 5 – 6 C (41 – 42 F). Moderate to heavy snow showers occur during winter. In July – August average high temperature records 18 C (64 F).
