Eligibility

To be considered a viable candidate for their Spring Uplifting Communities Scholarship, you must:

  • Show a demonstrated commitment and involvement in uplifting underserved communities through volunteerism and advocacy
  • Be enrolled at and in good academic standing with an accredited college or university
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 2.7
  • Be at least 17 years of age or older
  • Be a United States citizen or permanent resident

To apply for their scholarship, please include proof of enrollment for the Spring semester and your contact information. Share your unique perspective through a creative video that showcases your passion and commitment to uplifting underprivileged communities through economic empowerment.

Applicants are asked to respond to one of the following prompts in the form of a two-minute video essay:

Describe a moment when you made a positive impact in your community. What motivated you, and what did you learn from the experience?

OR

Highlight a community leader or organization that has inspired you. What lessons can you draw from their work to impact your own community?
