Description
Each year the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy may offer a number of awards known as the ANU Law Indigenous Justice and Education Grant.
The objective of the Award is to provide financial assistance to law students to undertake Indigenous justice course or project within the College.
Funding for this Award has been provided by the College and its generous donors.
Benefits
The value of the award is up to $2,200, paid in one instalment upon submission of the final approved travel application for the course, unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer. The award would normally be used to assist with airfares, accommodation and day-to-day living expenses to undertake the course or project.
Eligibility
The Award is available each year to a continuing ANU student who:
- is a domestic or international student; and
- is enrolled in one of the following programs offered by the College:
- Bachelor of Laws (Honours) as a single or Flexible Double Degree; or
- Juris Doctor; or
- Master of Laws; or
- Master of International Law and Diplomacy; or
- Master of Financial Management and Law; or
- Graduate Certificate of Law; or
- Graduate Certificate of New Technologies Law; and
- has applied for, been offered a place in, and intends to undertake one of the Indigenous justice course or projects listed on the ANU Scholarships website.
