Scholarships are a great way to help pay for college. Many scholarships are based on your financial need. But you can earn scholarships for all sorts of other things ― your grades, your major or where you’re from.

Eligibility

  • Scholarship awarded to entering Ph.D. students who have exceptional academic records.
  • It is the highest student award the College of Graduate Studies offers and includes a stipend (as defined by each departmental program) and remission of instructional fees, out-of-state surcharge, instructional fees, general fees and other student fees.
  • The University Fellowship may be renewed for up to three years for a total of four years of support provided the student maintains an outstanding academic record and makes significant progress toward their degree.
  • Applicants must be full-time doctoral students. JD, MD and PharmD students are ineligible.
  • Acceptance by the program is required prior to award designation. Previous recipients are not eligible.
