Description

Established in 2019, this scholarship has been generously donated by Carole Muller to support travel for students undertaking postgraduate study and/or research in the field of Balinese culture, art and history.

Benefits

The scholarship value will be from $3,000 to $5,000 and will be determined by the selection committee.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be enrolled to study in a PhD at the University of Sydney
  • undertake research the field of Balinese culture, art or history
  • be able to demonstrate a need to undertake travel as part of your research
  • have previous research experience
  • have an aptitude for fieldwork
  • have a background in a relevant discipline
  • be proficient in (or have a strong desire to become proficient in) the Indonesian language.
